Mechina (K-2nd Grade)

Our Mechina program (students from Kindergarten to 2nd grade) here at Temple Sinai, meets every Sunday from 9:30 am-12:00 noon. Our program focuses on building a knowledge of key words, Bible stories, holidays and Jewish culture through experiential learning and hands on practices. Our students are involved with projects, skits, and play all aimed at helping them become familiar with t’fillot, rituals and ethics. Our Mechina staff is made up of experienced educators who are driven to introduce our youngest Religious School students to the joys of Judaism.

For more information about Mechina, please contact Shira Weissbach, our Director of Education.
