Albert & Rose Rubenstein Children’s Library Fund

The Albert and Rose Rubenstein Children’s Library, and the fund created in their memory, honor the parents of a family that has held continuous membership in Temple Sinai from its beginning. As a founder of Temple Sinai, Albert Rubenstein was one of the original ten signers of the synagogue’s incorporation papers on September 30, 1941.

For over 60 years, the Rubenstein family has helped to support and maintain Temple Sinai with faith and dedication. Harvey, the son of Albert and Rose Rubenstein, became a Bar Mitzvah, was confirmed, and later married at Temple Sinai. Lucille, their daughter, became a Bat Mitzvah and was confirmed here and has been a loyal member all of her life.

The contribution to Temple Sinai by Harvey and Lucille Rubenstein in memory of their parents now establishes a separate and independent library to serve the synagogue’s children, the future of the Jewish people.
