Sinai Youth


YOUTH GROUPS: MAKOR 3rd & 4th Grades

Advisor: Sara Domsky-

An intro to youth group experiences, 3rd and 4th graders gather for activities at

Temple Sinai or trips to places like Arnolds’ Family Fun, laser tag, and Rosh

Hashanah apple picking.



Advisor: Rocki Schy-

Kadima is the pre-teen division of United Synagogue Youth programming.

5th-7th graders enjoy programming inside and outside of Temple Sinai with

peers from Temple Sinai’s Kadima “chapter” and are invited to participate in

regional Kadima programming with peers from across the Mid-Atlantic region.


YOUTH GROUPS: USY 8th-12th Grades

Advisor: Jared Mitchell-

USY is the teen division of United Synagogue Youth programming. Co-led by teens

and staff, USY provides opportunities for teens to engage in social , social action,

leadership, ritual, and educational programming on the local, regional, and

international level.


ENRICHMENT: ROHO & BROHO 6th-12th Grade Girls, 8th-12th Grade Boys

RoHo & BroHo groups provide “guy space” or “girl time,” offering an engaging

relevant, and “cool” way to participate in Jewish education. Trained, adult

mentors facilitate discussion guided by empirically-proven curricular material

provided by Moving Traditions.




Temple Sinai is an affiliated member of United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism (USCJ)
