Men's Club

Temple Sinai’s Men’s Club, affiliated with the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs, is an active arm within the synagogue, providing camaraderie, activities, events, and fellowship for men of all ages.Whether it is our softball team, our regular Pub Nights, or our monthly bicycle rides, we encourage all of our synagogue members to take part in all we have to offer.

Under Men’s Club’s auspices, our Keruv programs help members deal with the issues encountered by intermarried families and help to make all congregants feel welcome at Temple Sinai. Men’s Club enriches the quality of synagogue life though our programming. We teach members Jewish prayer and ritual at our annual Men’s Club Shabbat. Our Build-A-Pair program and World-Wide Wrap celebrate the mitzvah of tefillin. We provide Yadayim and Tikkunim to Temple Sinai students who learn to read and chant from the Torah in Yad squad.

The Norman Samoiloff Memorial Fund

THE NORMAN SAMOILOFF MEMORIAL FUND

This fund was established as a remembrance of Norman Samoiloff's years of service to the club as a member, board member, president and as "Mr. Sunshine."

The fund provides a grant for Men's Club's "Simcha Cards" mailed to our members in honor of birthdays and anniversaries.

Each year the fund sponsors a contest for children attending Temple Sinai Religious School. This past year, winners were chosen from dozens of entries telling about projects the students worked on to help "Tikun Olam" (repairing the world).
